As a parent I get it. College planning can be time consuming, stressful, and sometimes cause unresolve between you and your child. There are many things to consider when selecting a college . Here's a few tips to get you started. How far do you want to be from home? Become knowledgeable about the campus environment and features of each school. Check out each their degree options, top majors, graduation rate and overall costs. College visits are still the best way to get an overview of each campus .We cover this in further detail in our meetings.

How do I choose which college is right for me? 

Colleges look for a rigorous high school curriculum, a high GPA, well written essay, extracurricular activities and leadership, strong references, demonstrated interest in attending school and high standardized test scores. (NOTE: Requirements for testing has changed since COVID 19-it is advised to check each school individually)
